India were 14-1 off 5.2 overs when heavy rain stopped play in the second one-day international against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium on Tuesday.
Put into bat, India lost opener Ajinkya Rahane for a duck when he was trapped leg before wicket by paceman Mashrafe Mortaza off the second ball of the innings.
Robin Uthappa and Cheteshwar Pujara were the not out batsmen at the crease when the downpour started in the day-night clash.
The first match of the series on Sunday was also marred by rains before India won by seven wickets on the Duckworth/Lewis method.
The visitors made one change to the side that won the opening game, bringing in all-rounder Stuart Binny for off-spinner Parvez Rasool.
For Bangladesh, Mithun Ali came in for Mominul Haque and Taskin Ahmed replaced Abdur Razzak.
The third and final game of the short series will be played on Thursday.
