Tim Cahill suffered defeat on his Major League Soccer debut for the New York Red Bulls as his new side went down 2-0 at Houston Dynamo. Jermaine Taylor gave the home side a second-minute lead before Calen Carr doubled the advantage in the 28th minute as in-form Houston moved two points clear of the Red Bulls at the top of the Eastern Conference with their fifth successive victory.
