History made in Dubai The FIFA Interactive World Cup 2012 Grand Final, held in Dubai from 21-23 May, was one of the most intense, nail biting and exciting finals in the history of the tournament. Two former winners, Alfonso Ramos (2008) and Bruce Grannec (2010), competed shoulder to shoulder for the opportunity to make history as the first champion to ever win the tournament for a second time. In the end, Ramos won on penalties to claim the title. Ramos was overjoyed and overwhelmed. When asked how he would spend his prize money, Ramos exclaimed: “I will do the same as last time, I’ll save most of my money and then I’ll buy dinner for my friends!” In January of next year, the Spaniard will put on his smartest suit and attend the FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala 2012, where he will spend a night in the company of some of the world’s greatest football stars.
