Spring is finally here and like every year the weather gets warmer, the days longer, and you can once again enjoy walks in the park and along the Thames. And if you happen to be walking along the banks of The Tideway, between Putney and Mortlake on the afternoon of the 7th of April, you might catch a glimpse of one of the oldest sporting events in the world: The Boat Race! London RIB Voyages, the original Thames speedboat experience, is proud to announce they will be supplying the RIBs for the flotilla, on Saturday 7th April at 2.15pm. The flotilla will follow legendary rivals, the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Clubs, with two very strong squads of athletes; expect to see another great race this year. Speaking on the new partnership, Charlie Matheson, CEO of London RIB Voyages, said: We are so honoured to be involved in The Boat Race, an event we have followed with great respect year after year; our crew are very excited and looking forward to the big day.
