Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro remained top of Brazil's Serie A standings with a 3-2 victory over Botafogo on Sunday. The two-time FIFA world player of the year set up two of his team's goals at the Independencia Arena in Belo Horizonte and had the better of his duel with former AC Milan teammate Clarence Seedorf. "It was a great performance by everybody but we have to keep our feet on the ground and working as a team because there is still a long way to go," Ronaldinho said. Seedorf, who joined Botafogo in July after ending his 10-year career at the San Siro, lamented his team's poor defending. "I think we played well but we can't afford to give away goals like we did because it makes life difficult for us," Seedorf said. "Two goals away from home should be enough against the competition leaders. But credit to them for the victory and the home crowd which gave them great support." In other matches on Sunday, Flamengo beat Vasco da Gama 1-0, Santos overcame Corinthians 3-2 and Gremio held on to fourth spot with a 4-0 demolition of Figueirense.
