HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) yesterday dedicated the bronze medals of Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah and Mutaz Essa Barshim at the 2012 London Olympic Games to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. HE Sheikh Saoud also extended his appreciation to HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani for attending the reception ceremony of the two Olympic Champions at Doha Air Port on Monday. HE QOC Secretary General said that the achievements of Al-Attiyah and Barshim were due to the strong backing of HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent. HE Sheikh Saoud also congratulated the two athletes on their medals and said that the medals came as a result of the hard work put in by the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation and the Qatar Amateur Athletics Federation.
