Sergio Aguero claims to be enjoying life in English football at Manchester City and says he has no immediate plans to secure a switch elsewhere. The Argentina international has proved to be one of the shrewdest pieces of transfer business in 2011/12, with City gaining an instant return on their sizeable investment. They dug deep to lure Aguero away from Atletico Madrid last summer, but have been rewarded with 29 goals and a nomination for the PFA Player of the Year award. Aguero admits things could not have gone much better for him during his debut season at the Etihad Stadium. He is, however, aware that speculation - which has been sparked by his father-in-law Diego Maradona - continues to link him with a return to Spain. The 23-year-old is prepared to shrug off the rumours for now, with there no intention on his part to push through a summer transfer. Happy \"I thought when I came here I was going to need some time to adapt, but I started to score from the beginning,\" said Aguero. \"I have to be honest, I never thought that I was going to score so many goals in my first season here. \"Diego Maradona has said that the ideal club for me is Real Madrid and I\'m not going to tell him \'Hey, don\'t say that\'. He says what he wants and he has always been like that. \"But I have never said that I want to play for Real Madrid, and I don\'t want to play for them today. I\'m happy at Manchester City.\" Aguero has been paired alongside countryman Carlos Tevez in recent weeks, striking up a formidable partnership, and he claims his fellow forward, who recently returned from a self-imposed exile, is fully committed to the City cause. Ahead of a potentially pivotal derby date with Manchester United on Monday, he said: \"Carlos is doing so well. He is focused again and wants to help us win the title. \"I\'m happy for him because he had many problems with the club and Roberto (Mancini). I wanted Carlos and Roberto to solve their problems because Carlos is so important for us.\"
