Shaikh Nasser prepares for Bahrain 11

Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and Head of the High Organizing Committee of the inaugural edition of the GCC Games, Bahrain 11, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa chaired today the 11th meeting of BOC board of directors at the committee’s headquarters in Umm Al Hasam. Discussions focused on the kingdom’s preparations to host Bahrain 11 from October 11 to 22. Shaikh Nasser listened to a detailed report on the ongoing preparations by BOC Chief Executive and Head of the tournament’s executive committee Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa as well as BOC Secretary General and Deputy Head of the executive committee Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Shaikh Nasser expressed satisfaction at what has been done so far expressing keenness to enhance the pace of preparations to finalize all organizational procedures. He hailed the efforts made by the organizational committees stressing the leadership’s keenness to ensure success of the major sporting event.
