Girl Schools from different learning stages (elementary, preparatory and secondary levels) made impressive performance in the basketball event at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program (SOP) 2012-2013  under the theme “ Sports and Investment” on Monday. At  the elementary schools level , a number of schools cruised  their way to the 16th round in the Basketball , including Middle East, Al-Maha Academy, Al-Shaqab, Al-Huda, Newton International, Indian Islamic School, Khadija school, Zakrit, Al-Bayyan, Royal International, Birla , Al-Khansa, Dar Al-Salam, Al-Rifae, Umm Salama, and Ruqia. At the preparatory schools level, the top winners are:  Tunisia, Noor Al-Khaleej, Egyptian languages, Ruqia, Al-Ghowairia, Al-Noor, Middel East, Barzan, Fatima Al-Zahra, Ummsaieed, Al-Bayyan, Al-Maha Academy, Qatar, Al-Aqsa, Amna bint Wahab and Dar Al-Arqam. At  secondary schools level , the winners are: Rabaa Al-Adawia, Lebanese, Al-Karaanah Middele East, Al-Ghowairia, Indian Islamic School, bright future, Arwa, Al-Bayyan, New Rayyan, Al-Kothar,  Newton International and Tunisia. In another scene, some 74 students from 21  primary schools for boys began their campaign in the Table-Tennis  competitions at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program (SOP) 2012-2013  under the theme “ Sports and Investment” on Monday. In Monday’s fixtures, Saud bin Abdulrahman school and Pakistan Shama School booked their places in the final round in Table-Tennis to be held in the SOP closing ceremony in April. Royal International school will lock horns against Al-Khor school in clash for the  third and fourth places in the  Table-Tennis  on Tuesday. Boys from different preparatory schools have showed a wide-praised performance and high skills in the SOP  handball competition held at the Qatar Sports Club Indoor on Monday. The results came as follows: Jordanian school outclassed Al-Hikmah International 10-2, Osama bin Zaid defeated Khalid bin Walid 5-1, Al-Shahania thrashed Cairo 10-0,  Mohammed bin Jassim  overcome Rowdat Rashid 10-0 and Al-Razi defeated Al-Ahnaf bin Qais 7-3. The volleyball competitions for secondary schools (boys) at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program 2012-2013 were held  at Al-Arabi Sports Club Indoor on Monday. In Monday’s fixtures, Ibn Taimia school outclassed Al-Sailiyiah 2-0, Tareq bin Ziad defeated Dukhan 2-0, Mohammed bin Abdelwahab thrashed Hamad bin Abdullah 2-0 and Hamad bin Abdullah beat Dukhan 2-0. The secondary schools for boys will resume their campaign in the volleyball event at Al-Ahli Sports Club  indoor  on Tuesday. From : Qatar Olympic Committee
