Choo Shin-soo, a South Korean outfielder for the Texas Rangers, will undergo a season-ending elbow surgery, the Major League Baseball (MLB) club announced Monday. The Rangers said Choo will have an operation to remove bone spurs from his left elbow and will miss the remainder of the season. They added they expect him back at full strength at the start of next year.
