Chicago officials say they will consider making another bid for an Olympics now that changes have been made in the television revenue-sharing arrangement. The International Olympic Committee and U.S. Olympic Committee reached an agreement this week on revenue sharing, which the Chicago Tribune said ended the standoff that cost the Windy City its shot at the 2016 Summer Games. The deal appeared to open the door to a bid for the 2024 event. \"It\'s something we\'ll have to talk about and give a lot of careful thought and consideration to,\" said Sam Stark, executive director of the Chicago Sports Commission. But the word from city hall was that Mayor Rahm Emanuel had no interest in getting back into the Olympics race. \"We haven\'t engaged in any conversations and have no plans to,\" said mayoral spokeswoman Sarah Hamilton. The Tribune said some IOC members did not consider Emanuel\'s statement to be the final word and that prospective hosts cities for 2024 will start surfacing once the 2020 games are awarded. The finalists include Tokyo, Istanbul and Madrid.
