1 takfiri element killed, 14 suspects arrested in North Sinai campaign

A takfiri element has been killed and 14 suspects have been arrested in a security campaign in southern Arish, Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah.
Security troops stormed a number of hotbeds of terrorists in the North Sinai cities, sources said Wednesday.
Police will cross check criminal records of the arrestees, the sources added.
The hotbeds which terrorist use to conduct their operations against the army and police have been completely destroyed, the sources said.
Three plateless motorcycles that belong to terrorists have as well been destroyed, the sources added.
Six explosive charges planted by takfiri elements in different parts of North Sinai have also been detected and safely defused, they said.
Meanwhile, a number of unidentified gunmen opened fire at a citizen in el Karama area in southern Arish.
Salman A. A., 50 was rushed to hospital with wounds to the chest.
