The expanded security campaign, carried out in southern Arish, Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah, resulted in killing six takfiris and arresting 14 suspects and damaging militant hotbeds.
During the campaign, a workshop for preparing booby-trapped cars as well as four underground tunnels were destroyed.
In statements on Thursday, security sources said aircraft and ground forces were used to attack the militant hotbeds.
Thirteen houses, 37 huts, two vehicles and 13 motorcycles owned by takfiris were also destroyed during the campaign.
