Police kill prime suspect involved in assassinating top police office

The prime suspect in shooting of Head of the Shoubra el Kheima Criminal Investigation Department Mostafa Lotfi was killed in a shootout with police in a district in Qalyubia governorate, a senior security source announced on Wednesday.
In a statement to MENA, the source said security forces launched a wide-scale operation in the golden triangle area in Qalyubia governorate to arrest those involved in gunning down Lotfi and also round up outlaws.
