Security official injured in Sinai bombing

An assistant to North Sinai Security Director was injured when an explosive charge went off along Arish-Qantara road, said an Interior Ministry source on Wednesday.
In press statements to MENA, the source added that while a patrol was moving along the road, the roadside bomb went off leaving Major General Yasser Hafez wounded. He was carried to hospital and his condition is stable, added the source.
Bomb experts rushed to the scene to make sure that no other bombs are planted in the area, he added.
