Mayor of Milan Giuliano Pisapia has praised the Kuwaiti General Consulate for organizing the \"Kuwait Days\" festival here and desire of the diplomatic mission to boost the Kuwaiti-Italian relations.Pisapia, in remarks to KUNA, said the festival, inaugurated by the Ministry of Information Undersecretary, Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah, early last week, constituted a message of peace, rapprochement and brotherhood -- an event that came a year after the successful the exhibition of Islamic arts.This media demonstration, held at Al-Duomoa Piaza, the top landmark of the ancient city, which is a main cultural-economic center at the European level, practically contributed to the cultural interaction between Kuwait and the city.The mayor indicated that such Kuwaiti activities in Milan would bolster \"the relationship of brotherhood between us.\" Elaborating, he said Kuwait\'s planned participation in the Expo exhibition in 2015 would result in increasing the mutual cooperation at the economic, social and cultural levels.The festival is due to conclude later on Friday with a seminar about the Kuwaiti heritage.
