Actors Ron Howard, Michael Douglas and Bryan Cranston are among those who will give talks at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. Kevin Spacey, Aaron Sorkin, Lee Daniels and Alec Baldwin are also on the list for Tribeca Talks panels. The guest-hosted panels take place at various locations in NYC in addition to the festival's film screenings. Howard will reportedly talk about his films and Hollywood career, director Lee Daniels will speak about Precious and The Butler, and Spacey will discuss NOW: In the Wings on a World Stage, a documentary about the Old Vic theater company where he is artistic director. Sorkin and Cranston are among those who will talk during the festival's four-day Future of Film series. The theme for the series is "The Story's Edge," and will discuss the interplay between storytelling, cultural trends, and figures in the art, political, science, and filmmaking worlds. "With these talks we want to expand the conversation about filmmaking and storytelling," director of programming Genna Terranova said. "Whether it's a deeper look at the artistic process or timely social issues, hearing from the leading voices in film, media and beyond, can facilitate new perceptions and further our understanding of the current state of making and enjoying entertainment." Other highlights include the world premiere of Champs, a documentary on boxers Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, among others. Tyson and Holyfield will appear at the event with boxing promoter Lou DiBella to discuss the film afterward. The Tribeca Film Festival will run from April 16-27 at various locations in New York City.
