A photo exhibition was launched here Friday to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Trinidad and Tobago. Organized by the Chinese Embassy and Xinhua News Agency's Port of Spain Bureau, the exhibition has on display 30 photos taken by Xinhua journalists, which cover all aspects of the political, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two nations in the past 40 years. Deepening bilateral ties serves the fundamental interests of the two countries and the two peoples, said Chinese ambassador Huang Xingyuan at the opening ceremony. China and Trinidad and Tobago have seen expanded cooperation in economics and trade, infrastructure and other sectors since they forged diplomatic ties on June 20, 1974. b
