Sheikh Sultan is Theatre Personality of Year

Gulf Theatre Festival will honour next Saturday at the Sharjah Cultural Palace His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as the Theatre Personality of the Year at the GCC level. The honour comes in recognition to his contributions and support to the theatre movement in the local, GCC and Arab levels. In related development, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development will open the 13th Gulf Theatre Festival, which will run from 17th May till 24th. The 2014's edition of the festival will feature six Gulf theatric shows during the official competition, and other three Emirati theatric shows on the sidelines of the festival.
