The festival is organised on October 4 to 21 at Muharraq Model Youth Centre by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa under by the patronage of HH.
The 18 day long festival comes within Khalid Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa Initiatives to support the youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain and engage them with different social, cultural and sports events and activities.
It is held this year under the theme #Let’s_Plant_A_Smile and aims at empowering the youth in the fields of cultural and humanitarian works.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa highlighted that having 14 sponsors supporting the festival reflects the Bahraini establishments’ concern about supporting youth activities in all fields.
HH said that the efforts of the officials in the sponsoring establishments are appreciated, especially that they seek contributing to the success of events and activities that are dedicated to the youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain and providing them with the perfect atmosphere to develop their talents and skills.
The partners and sponsors include the strategic partner Tamkeen, telecommunications partner Batelco, golden sponsor Economic Development Board, beverages partner Coca Cola, silver sponsors Bapco and Al-Hawaj and bronze sponsors Alba, Wahooo, Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, Palace Projects, Majestic Cars Showroom, Gulf University and Adhari Park and hospitality partner Tariq Pastries.
There are 12 teams participating in this year’s edition of the festival that include Tubli Club, Galali Club, Zallaq Youth Centre, Karzakkan Youth Centre, Hamad Town Youth Centre, Al-Hala Club, Al-Jasra Youth Centre, Budaiya Club, Buhair Youth Centre, Shakhoora Youth Centre, Barbar Club and the National Foundation for the Services of People With Disabilities. The crew will include director Isa Khalifa, assistant directors Waleed Mohammed and Mohammed Shaheen and other Bahraini talents.
