13th Kuwait Theater Festival kicks off next week

The 13th Kuwait Theater Festival kicks off here next week, it was announced on Thursday. The festival is being organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters with the participation of seven national theater groups and would also include intellectual and practical symposia after every show. Director of the festival and acting president of theater in the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Saleh Al-Hamar said in a press conference at the General Secretariat of the Council that the opening of the festival will begin next Monday with a ceremony to honor pioneer of Kuwaiti drama as well as an operetta concert on national unity, in addition to a photo exhibition. He added that intellectual symposia will be held next Wednesday and Thursday, adding that all plays would be held at Dasmah theater
