Kerry lands in Kabul on unannounced visit amid election crisis

US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Kabul on Thursday to pressure feuding presidential candidates to resolve the disputed election result that risks triggering instability as NATO troops withdraw.
Kerry landed in the Afghan capital for meetings with poll rivals Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah and outgoing President Hamid Karzai, an AFP reporter travelling with him said.
