Pakistan's MQM party appeals for calm after chief's arrest

Senior figures in Pakistan's MQM party appealed for calm on Tuesday following reports of their leader Altaf Hussain's arrest in London.
"We appeal to all our supporters to remain peaceful, calm and united," Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan, a a senior MQM politician, told AFP. "We discourage any illegal activity," he added.
