
A total of 290 companies were founded with an issued capital of EGP 325 million in the period between December 6 and 10, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said on Sunday.
An average of 58 companies was established daily in the described period, according to a statement issued by the General Authority for Investment.
The companies operate in the sectors of agriculture, industry, tourism, services, communication and information technology, construction and finance, it said.
They are expected to provide 2,321 jobs in the administrative, agricultural, engineering, medical, tourist and craft specializations.
