56 ships transit New Suez Canal

As many as 56 ships transited the New Suez Canal on the second day of operation, said shipping sources on Saturday.
In statements, the sources said that most of the vessels that crossed the waterway are giant container ships.
Meanwhile, about 22 ships transited the New Suez Canal on the first day of operation as part of the north-bound convoy, while the south-bound convoy included 32 vessels.
World leaders attended on Thursday the opening ceremony of the New Suez Canal.
