
A ship sailed into El Zaytiat port from Saudi port of Yanbu with 6,500 tons of butane gas on board, Spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel Rahim Moustafa said on Friday.
Adabiya port received a ship coming from the Jordan's Aqaba harbor with 50,000 tons of phosphates on board, he added.
Safaga port received a ferryboat laden with 103 passengers, 43 trucks and nine cars, he said. Another ship carrying eight trucks on board sailed into the port, he added.
Also, a ship carrying 416 passengers, including 45 pilgrims, a bus, nine trucks, two cars and two jet buses arrived at Nuweiba harbor, said Moustafa said, adding that a vessel with 50 trucks on board also arrived at the harbor.
