Nearly 90% of the side canal being constructed at the East Port Said Port has been completed, Chairman of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Kamal el Wazeer said.
Ten million cubic meters have been completed out of the 12-milion-cubic-meter side canal, Wazeer said.
As for the piers of the East Port Said Port, to be built on five kilometers, he said 8.5% of the work has been done, adding that all works are expected to be complete within two years.
