A cargo train left Alexandria Port loaded with 1,500 tons of wheat heading for mills in Beni Suef, said acting head of Alexandria Port Authority Fathi Taha.
Also, 9,400 trucks loaded with goods entered and exited the port within the past 24 hours.
The grains stockpiles in Alexandria Port reached 1.41 million tons including 435,000 tons of wheat.
