
Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) to provide exclusive offers and benefits for pensioners.
This initiative falls in line with the efforts of the Fund to collaborate with various sectors within the emirate of Abu Dhabi in order to specifically provide benefits designed to conform to the needs of pensioners and contribute towards bettering their lives.
Ahmed Al Hosni, Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Performance Department, signed the MoU on behalf of Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, while Marwan Al-Thani, Vice President of Sales for the Government, signed on behalf of du.
Khalaf Abdullah Rahmah Al Hammadi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, commented on the historic signing, "The signing of this memorandum represents the Fund's efforts to provide additional benefits for pensioners, and under this note, the pensioners can take advantage of the discount packages and exclusive benefits on smartphones and mobile offered by du.
Al Hammadi added, "In order to facilitate getting these advantages, we have allocated two offices within the customer service department of the main Fund building for du staff, from where they can provide their services for pensioners, while pensioners can also avail these advantages in the main building of du." Al Hammadi praised the cooperation of Emirates Telecommunications Company, du, in the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding to provide suitable offers for pensioners and the staff of the pension.
Marwan Thani, Vice President, Government Sales, du, commented: "We consider it to be one of our top priorities to contribute to the welfare of all members of the UAE community. Through the launch of a new package designed specifically to fulfil the needs of retired UAE Nationals. The package includes an exclusive range of discounts and benefits to add life to their life in unexpected ways. We would like to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation for the years of service to our country. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Abu Dhabi Pensions Fund for inviting us to be part of honouring retired Emiratis, and for the valuable services that the Fund provides to the community in general." All what pensioners need to do is present a copy of their employment card, with a copy of their Emirates ID and a copy of their credit card, to subscribe to the new plan.
