
The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, received a business delegation from South Africa to discuss ways of strengthening economic cooperation and creating investment opportunities for businessmen in both countries.
Vice Chairman of ACCI, Hamad bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, in the presence of Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of ACCI and Mohamed Al Janahi, Executive Director of Business and Investment Development, received the delegation headed by Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo, the Premier and ANC Provincial Chairperson of Bokone Bophirima Province, South Africa, at the Chamber’s headquarters.
The delegation comprised Manketci Tahib, Executive Council Member of Agriculture and Environment Development Department and Nedi Enlson, Executive Council Member of Finance and Economic Development Department, along with a number of officials from South Africa.
Hamad Al Nuaimi praised the ongoing cooperation between the UAE and South Africa, pointing to many economic and tourist fields that can be strengthened between Ajman and South Africa in the future to serve both sides and support economic growth and sustainability.
The delegation stressed the eagerness of their country to enhance economic cooperation with the UAE, especially in the tourism industry.
Al Nuaimi concluded the meeting by presenting the ACCI Shield to the delegation, and both sides stressed the need to create future partnerships allowing increase of economic growth.
In a separate meeting, Al Nuaimi received Darko Uskokovic, Ambassador of Montenegro to the UAE, to discuss ways of strengthening economic cooperation between both sides.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the economic cooperation ties and mechanisms of increasing this cooperation. Al Nuaimi also invited businessmen and investors of Montenegro to attend exhibitions and forums organised by the ACCI.
