Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa receives al-Zayanis

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has received today, at Sakhir Palace, Faisal bin Abdulrahman Al-Zayani and his brothers, who presented a book authored by their late father Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Zayani.
Titled "Years of Defiance", the book documents Bahrain's landmark economic and trade strides since the dawning of the 20th century. HM the King paid tribute to late Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Zayani, who tapped into his lifetime trade and economic expertise and shed light on a defining phase of Bahrain's business development.
HM the King commended the pivotal role of businessmen and the private sector in bolstering the national economy, developing trade and economic relations with brotherly and friendly countries and boosting the volume of trade exchanges. HM the King expressed thanks and appreciation to the sons of late Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Zayani for presenting the book, hailing their unrelenting efforts to spearhead the trade sector.
