CAPMAS: Monthly inflation hits high record level since July of 2014

Monthly Inflation rate hit a high record level in September to reach 172.2 points, the highest monthly rate since July of 2014, said the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) Thursday.
Annual inflation rate rose by 9.4 percent compared to September of 2014, the agency said in a statement, a copy of which MENA obtained.
CAPMAS added that the prices of food and beverages rose by 4.9 percent in September, compared with the previous month.
