
The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Saudi Arabia hit $3673 million in 8 months in 2015.
Egypt's imports from the Saudi kingdom recorded $2195 million, while exports $1478 million in the 8 months.
Saudi Ambassador here Ahmad Qattan said the balance of trade between Egypt and Saudi Arabia included a surplus in Saudi exports of $716 million in the period between January and September 2015.
According to a Saudi embassy statement, citing a statistical report, Saudi exports to Egypt were mainly petroleum products, petrochemicals, paper products, drugs, colors and dyes and steel coils.
The most exported items from Egypt include household appliances, cables, wires, furniture, organs, onions and cheese, it added.
