Egyptian Cabinet discusses report on EEDC's outcomes

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab chaired a meeting by the cabinet on Wednesday to consider a report on the outcomes of the Egyptian Economic Development Conference (EEDC) held in March.
According to the report, about 12 ministerial meetings were held to follow up the agreements which were inked during the conference.
A change was made on the mechanism adopted by the follow-up committee to effectively carry out the projects, the report said.
Also, a draft would be proposed to amend the law no. 14/2002 to allow foreign businessmen invest in power production projects.
