
Egyptian exports to Nile Basin countries went up by 8.2% in February 2015, recording to $75.339 million against $69.650 million in February 2014, statistics revealed on Tuesday. Annual exports hit $69.758 million in January 2015, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said in a monthly bulletin, of which MENA obtained a copy. Imports from Nile Basin countries, meanwhile, increased by 3% in February 2015 reaching $25.870 million against $22.903 million in February 2014. Annual imports from Nile Basin countries went down by 71.7% in February 2015 compared to February 2015 in which imports hit $ 91.574 million.
