
On behalf of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Minister of Finance Hani Kadry Demian inaugurated Monday the 3rd Annual PPP Investment Summit.
Ministers of investments, planning, supply, internal trade, international cooperation, water resources and irrigation and housing along with chairman of the Suez Canal take part in the two-day event.
Also, a big number of heads and representatives of international companies desiring to invest in the Egyptian market participate in the event along with delegations of major investment banks.
Twenty projects with the cost of over 4 billion dollars will be announced during the summit.
The projects are in the fields of information technology, transport, industry, sports, energy and infrastructure.
The conference will tackle developments of national economy and features of financial reform implemented by the government besides role of the private sector's projects in implementing basic infrastructure projects needed for the national economy.
The event will also discuss investment opportunities in Egypt and reforms of the government to improve the investment climate.
