
Finance Minister Hani Qadri said Saturday that the revenues from customs, taxes and real estate taxes have increased by 3.29 billion Egyptian pounds during the fiscal year 2014/2015.
In statements, the minister said that the revenues of the Egyptian Tax Authority, excluding the oil sector, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the Suez Canal, have achieved an increase of 42 billion pounds to reach 178 billion pounds, compared to the year 2013/2014.
He lauded the performance of the staffs of the tax authority, pointing out to the great efforts exerted to upgrade the level and efficiency of the customs system.
