Egyptian ministerial delegation inspects Toshka development projects

Ministers of local development, housing, irrigation and agriculture have inspected the development projects in Toshka and the New Toshka City.
Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouli said a decision to establish Toshka City was issued in year 2,000 to house 80,000 people and provide 44,000 jobs.
He added that Toshka City will have 1,224 housing units for middle class citizens.
A solar power station is underway at an area of 49.5 feddans to produce 5 MWs at a total cost of 50 million pounds.
The ministerial delegation suspended their inspection visit and returned to Cairo on the news of the assassination of Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.
