
Prime Minister Ismail Sherif on Sunday reiterated his government's determination to overcome obstacles facing investors in Egypt and create an attractive investment climate.
During his meeting with representatives of French companies operating in Egypt, the PM stressed the need to communicate with the ministries and bodies concerned with the implementation the Suez Canal and other national projects in Egypt to follow up the latest developments.
He added that the meeting aimed to brief the representatives of French companies on investment opportunities and projects available in the country.
For their part, the representatives hailed the promising Suez Canal development project and expressed confidence that it would have a significant economic returns to Egypt, the region and the world.
They also expressed their willingness to expand activities in Egypt during the coming period, and to take part in the Suez Canal zone development projects.
The ministers of electricity, aviation, investment, tourism, transport, ICT and trade, along with Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish took part in the meeting.
