A state of emergency was declared by the Red Sea ports authority in four Suez ports due to bad weather.
Spokesman for the authority Abdel Rehim Moustafa said navigation was halted in the seaports of Port Tawfik, Adabiya, Zaitiyat and El Ain El Sokhna due to the unstable conditions, expected to last for two days.
As a result of dust, the range of lack of visibility was estimated at 1,500 meters, the spokesman said, adding that the wave height reached six meters.
