
The Federal National Council yesterday passed a draft law on linking the budgets of autonomous government entities with the federal budget for 2016.
The federal bill was passed during a meeting held as part of the first term of the FNC's 16th legislative chapter.
On 25th October, the Cabinet approved a Dh48.5 billion federal budget for next year with sero deficit.
The budget is focussed on social development, education and health care.
Tuesday's session was chaired by Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, and attended by ministers and senior officials.
