
Governor of the Central Bank of Morocco Abdellatif Jouahri arrived in Cairo Saturday to take part in the 39th session of the Board of Governors of the Central Banks and Arab Monetary Institutions, slated for Sunday.
The session will be chaired by Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Hisham Ramez.
Observers from both the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Union of Arab Banks and the Union of Arab Securities Authorities will take part in the meetings.
The meeting is expected to discuss the latest economic and financial developments in the region, a follow-up report on a regional clearing system and offsetting the inter-Arab debts.
On Friday, several governors of Arab central banks began to arrive in Cairo to take part in the session.
