ILO official says network to employ handicapped formed

Peter Van Rooij, the Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Cairo Office has announced the formation of a network of companies supporting the employment of persons with disabilities.
The network will act to exchange good practices, where employing persons with disabilities is concerned, Van Rooij said in a statement Wednesday.
This protocol should be operative among member companies and parties concerned, such as trade unions and NGOs, read the statement.
It aims to create a welcoming approach toward persons with disabilities, the statement added.
