Labour Market’s Regulatory Authority
Manama - BNA

The Labour Market’s Regulatory Authority (LMRA) will Sunday launch two new units to serve expatriates in the North Sitra industrial area and Al-Naim (Al-Razi Health Centre).

Including highly qualified and skilled personnel, the two units will collect biological information about the expatriates and their families and answer their queries. They will deliver other services later.

The two facilities is within LMRA’s policy to facilitate transactions and provide the best services for expats, LMRA CEO Osama bin Abdulla Al-Absi said as he inspected the units ahead of their inauguration tomorrow, adding that more branches will be opened in the kingdom within the next few months.

LMRA will launch a new unit in Mina Salman and a shelter in Sehla before the end of this year, he explained.

The move adds to LMRA’s success in issuing work permits for domestic workers in five post offices, in addition to its headquarters, he said.

Al-Absi lauded the great cooperation of the relevant government sides in the opening of the two units, namely the Industry and Commerce Ministry and the Health Ministry.

He pointed out that all steps taken by LMRA are in line with its keenness to provide services that meet international standards, which, he said, will contribute to respecting the rights of expatriate workers. They will also reflect the kingdom’s noble ethical and religious values.
