Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, accompanied by the ministers of agriculture, housing, water resources, investment and local development, will pay a two-day visit to the Toshka project on Monday to stand on its progress.
The visit comes upon President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's instructions to remove all obstacles that might hinder developing the project, help stalled companies and consider the possibility of reclaiming more than 100,000 feddans of the project within the national project to reclaim million acres.
The premier is due to witness the inauguration of the first residential building of the new Toshka city, scheduled to be built on 10,000 acres under the supervision of the ministry of housing.
Having visited Toshka project, Mahlab will visit Aswan governorate to open a number of projects and follow up new development works made to some projects, including Aswan University Hospital.
