
The ministerial committee on investment disputes has discussed 18 grievances in several investment spheres, said Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman, who is a member of the committee.
In statements on Thursday, Salman said the committee has discussed disputes related to the ministries of tourism, finance, housing, utilities and new urban communities, industry and trade.
Disputes related to the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Ismailia and Matrouh have been also discussed by the committee, the minister added.
The committee has taken decisive solutions to 15 disputes and referred the three others to a technical committee for further study, he noted.
The committee will brief a coming session of the cabinet on the decisions taken to resolve the investment disputes, Salman said.
On May 18, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued a decree to form a ministerial committee on investment disputes under the Minister of Justice.
The ministers of industry and trade, local development, housing, finance and investment are members of the newly formed panel.
