
Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Mala participated in an economic forum in Bahrain.
The forum is organized by the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP) affiliated to the Organization Of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
In a statement, a copy of which MENA obtained, the Petroleum Ministry said that a ministerial session was held under the rubric of "Charting a new course ... Drafting oil policies in a volatile market".
The session took up strategies to be adopted amid decreasing oil prices in the global market.
Attended the session were the ministers of petroleum in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait as well as Bahrain's minister of energy
