PM entrusts IDA with granting temporary permits to factories

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has issued a decision to allow the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) to grant year-long temporary permits to existing factories to settle their conditions.
The factories, within this period, are to legalize their status and meet the needed requirements for their operation, in accordance with the law.
Under the decision published Thursday in the official gazette, the Minister of Trade and Industry is authorized to take a decision setting the industrial activities, rules and procedures upon which the permits are granted.
