
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab visited Saturday Egypt Post at the Smart Village where he witnessed launching the "Citizens Account" project.
Mahlab also inspected the post museum after it was renovated.
The premier was accompanied by Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Khaled Negm, social solidarity and technical education ministers, Giza governor and former Egypt's mufti Ali Gomaa.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mahlab said that the project supports low income brackets who do not have insurance umbrella and are exposed to risks during their work.
He further underscored that the venture will make the citizen feel secure.
The prime minister invited craftsmen to open accounts in Citizens Accounts, adding that this project will attempt to achieve social justice.
