
The Saudi Department of Statistics and Information in its latest report showed that preliminary data indicate the Kingdom's exports of commodity value of non-oil in the month of April 2015 stood at (15787) million, registering a decrease of (14.3%) compared to the corresponding period last year, confirming that the imports amounted to (50125 ) million, registering a decrease of (13.63%) compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The Department said that non-oil exports accounted for (31.49%) of the total value of imports during this period.
The Department added that the plastics and rubber products exports ranked first in the value of exports amounted to (4795) million representing (30.37%) of the total value of commodity exports of non-petroleum, while the chemical industry products and related occupied the second place that valued (4507) million riyals by (28.55 %), transport equipments and its parts came in third place that worth (1597) million riyals by (10.11%) of the total value of exports.
